St Johns by Skyla

Yesterday St Johns came around to our school to teach us some ways to save people's live's.They put everyone in a group.There was five groups .They gave us some cards (about how to treat different injuries) and we have to put then in order.Then the teacher come around and check it. After that everyone paired up and we had to wrap our partner's arm up in a bandage. Then she told everyone to come back and sit down. After that she gave our teacher Mrs Lyford some little first aide kits for us to take home. I learned heaps.

Kite By Skyla

Hi my name is,Skyla. Today in our class ewe have been making kites.There were many different kites to make.I made the plastic plate one.First you cut out the middle.Then you decorate it how you like it.Then you put some ribbon on.After that yo flip you plate over and tape the stick on.The things you need is Ribbon ,a stick,plastic plate and so tape.

Flax By Skyla

Today in our class we have been making some flax. It was so hard for me .We made a flax flower. It was so hard I had to have some help from the teacher. This is about the flax. Rito (baby,the smallest leaf and opposite the mother).The leaf next to it is the Matua (father) and the one on the over side is the Whaea( mother).And the big ones are the grandparents.

mothers day green stone

Hi today I am going to tell you what I make for mothers day here it is. For mothers day I make a green stone necklace. First our teacher gave us some doh and we shaped our necklace. I make a dolphin tail. When I was done sharping I gave it to the teacher and she put a hole in it for the rope to go through and then she writt my name above it so it does not get mixed up with other students. And them you baked it and when it is finished you paint them you put the rope through and them tied it. And this is what I was trying to do.
